Valuation Survey

 

This type of survey is usually carried out for the benifit of the lender i.e Building Society or Bank. It is generally a cursory inspection of a property and is not in depth. It is important to understand that this type of survey is NOT usually for the benefit of the prospective purchaser.

 

Structural Building Survey

 

This type of report can take various forms dependant on the clients instruction. It can include all the items covered in the HomeBuyers Report plus a more detailed examination of the specific defect. Alternatively, the Structural Survey may cover a specific element or elements i.e bulging walls, cracks in walls, undulating floors etc.
